Ali Shibly plays and teaches oûd, guitar and mandolin. He was born in Baghdad and studied architecture in Skopje, Macedonia and moved to Germany in 1998. He hosted his own radio show in Skopje and became well-known in Macedonia as a writer and actor in “Who killed Susanna Spazorovska”. In Hamburg he is leading and teaching the children and youth mandolin orchestra “Sol” and performes in various oriental and international music projects. He accompanies Aylén La Sirena with the Oriental Opera Project in concert and dance shows.
