The musicians of the Tango Lírico Quartet come from four different continents: The japanese flute player Kanae Abe, Baltimore-born double bass player John Hughes and guitarist Jorge Cidades, who grew up in the city of tango Buenos Aires. They gather around the opera singer and tangodancer Aylén Bárbara Gerull.
The band plays Argentine tango with respect for tradition and yet every single musician enriches it with its own style.
